Finding the Right Light and Angle

When going out to shoot photos, pick a day where the atmospheric lighting means most to you. You want to capture a mood that satisfies the goal of your photos, it is your art, so it can help to pick a day which inspires creativity. The difference in lighting changes from morning until night, and the weather can affect what type of light the sun creates on the earth.

Pick a location that is full of objects and environments that inspire you. There are so many beautiful locations around the world, you can find them just by walking around a little, anywhere from a beach, to a forest, to a city. There are beautiful works of art just lying around this entire universe, just waiting to be a beautiful photo. There are so many options between location and light changes within a location that sometimes the light changing on a place can allow you to photograph it twice, both with morning and night photos, and when they are all finally collected, you can compare which photos you prefer.

After finding a location with lighting that suits you, perhaps you can try changing the angle of your favorite things to photograph. There are millions of ways that you can look at just one thing, until you find the right photo. In between hundreds of different shots, you can usually find quite a few photos that appease the eye if you photograph something that makes you inspired. Always make sure that what you photograph has the right perspective if you want to make a professional looking photo. The right angle on your subject can yield you great reward, and provide a much more stunning photograph, especially when the environmental lighting (the light that is naturally provided) is matching the mood of the shot.

Never hesitate to bring you camera with you on a hike or walk if you are needing inspiration. Sometimes finding the right place or subject to make photos can be a search, however, keeping your eye out for some potential places to photograph can help incredibly helpful.

Always be sure to provide proper housing for any weather that is on the wet side of moisture, or if there is sand blowing everywhere (like at the beach or in the desert), as you do not want to damage your equipment. Do not drop your camera, as it can crack the lens, and the aperture can have issues working if you get sand in it at all.
